Welcome to our class blog! We are a Year 1 and 2 class at May Road School in Mount Roskill! We hope you enjoy reading our blog as we share all the cool things that we are learning!
Hi May Road School. We loved watching all the flags go past in your video. There were some flags we knew and some we didn't. We might have to go and learn about the flags. Were the flags from all the people in your school? What a lot of countries if that is so. From Te Pihinga, Yaldhurst Model School
Hi Room 1 learners, WOW what an exciting assembly. I loved hearing you all singing and seeing your proud faces as you walked in with all of those flags! So many different countries represented. It was great to see some children recording the event with their iPads. What an experience you have all had. You sang our NZ national anthem so beautifully with loud and proud voices. I played your singing in the background while I was doing some work on blogs today. Did you have to practice your singing lots? Thanks for sharing your very special assembly. Nga mihi nui Tania

ReplyDeleteThank you Mrs Spragg. Yes, the flags represented most of the cultures in our school. Thank you for watching our video. We have more to come.
