Creating CyberSmart Comic strips with James
Room 12 have been creating simple comic strips to show CyberSmart behaviour online. We have talked a lot about how it relates to our class values and PB4L learning. Our big messages are
"If you haven't got anything nice to say, don't say it all- ANYWHERE!"
"Positive behavior should be both online AND offline!"

Being positive Online
In Room 12 we have chosen to share how we feel we should be smart and positive while online. This means we have created some internet Memes to share our thinking. We used Google drawing and images from the research tool. Images are linked to their sources within as our way of crediting them, we are beginning to work towards this fully.
We really enjoyed talking about the right decisions that we need to make. Thanks for sharing in our learning, we would love to have your feedback by commenting below!

Smart Passwords
On Wednesday 11th August Room 12 worked with James to create guides for making strong passwords. We looked at ways we could use a combination of upper and lowercase letters as well as special characters ($%^&*@#) to make them more interesting and harder for other people to guess. Things e talked about were:
- Make the password something memorable but also personal to you.
- Include letters AND numbers.
- Replace letters with numbers e.g. to = 2
- Try using a line from a song or the first letter of each word.
- A book, chapter and verse from the bible has a great range of characters e.g. John3:16.
- Some providers let you use a SPACE as a special character.
- You don't need to tell your teacher your password, they can see it and reset it if needed.
- Avoid common passwords.
We created Google Drawings to share some of our ideas and collect some criteria for making great passwords. We also used the research tool to find an image to place in the background and re-order it to fit behind everything. We hope you enjoy our learning and look forward to your comments.
